The Wind In The Willows

The Wind In The Willows Ratatat Theatre Company
The Wind In The Willows
Sat 26 June, 6.00pm
A new, full length, interactive, physical and musical theatre adaptation of the children’s classic. A family audience of fellow animals and friendly humans are invited to Toad Hall to see Ratty, Toad, Mole and Deazley the Weasel tell the tale. In a mysterious old room at school, four children discover that they are CUT OFF from the outside world. Imagine – no mobile phones! Until their rescue, they create scenes from THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS, using dusty props they find in boxes. Childish hostilities and suspicions are overcome as the magic of the Riverbank and the Wild Wood encircles them. They become firm friends but, when rescue comes, TOAD refuses to leave….. It is the classic tale of mysticism, adventure, morality, and camaraderie, written in 1908 by Kenneth Grahame. The story is fast paced, fun, full of pathos and gentle humour. An exciting new version of this family classic for ages 0-100, with physical theatre and live music, from the acclaimed Ratatat Theatre Company. With DOMINIC GOODWIN as TOAD, leading a cast of four!
