The Acorn is, in every sense, a community project - local groups and individuals working together to provide excellent facilities for every member our own community. Your active support is therefore vital if The Acorn Theatre is to prosper & develop.There are many ways you can become involved and support this exciting and important project - attending our fundraising events, helping to organise events, offering suggestions or even your voluntary services to become involved in the building, fitting out or running of the theatre itself!
The Friends Of The Acorn (FOTA) is our fundraising group whcih aims to raise funds and awareness for the Acorn Project. The group organises regular fundraising events. If you would like to be on our mailing list to find out about events, attend them, help at them or even organise them, please get in touch! FOTA is also looking for skilled volunteers to join our enthusiastic team of workers who will help to fit out the theatre - builders, electricians, plumbers, tilers, decorators, plasterers etc. If you feel you have any skills or time to offer, please get in touch!
